INGREDIENTS

  • 400g uncooked spaghetti


  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced


  • 1/2 cup olive oil (More if want more slutty)


  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes


  • 1/4 cup flat leaf parsley


  • 1 cup good quality parmesan



SUMMARY

Pasta Aglio e Olio or in english a cheesy , garlicky olive oil pasta. Think garlic bread but with pasta a simple meal that is ready in no time with ingredients you will have in your cupboards. Trust us this will become a staple in your household.


Slut it up to the max with extra cheese and extra olive oil.


RECIPE

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Drain and transfer to a pasta bowl.


  2. Combine garlic and olive oil in a cold pan. Cook over medium heat to slowly toast garlic, about 10 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low when olive oil begins to bubble. Cook and stir until garlic is golden brown, about another 5 minutes. Remove from heat.


  3. Stir chilli flakes, black pepper, and salt into the pasta. Pour in olive oil and garlic, a cup of the pasta water then sprinkle on flat leaf parsley and 3/4 of the parmesan cheese; stir until combined.


  4. Serve pasta topped the the remaining pasta.


  5. ENJOY
