2 sausages (meat taken out)
1 tbsp of chopped sage
2 slices of bacon
2 slices American cheese
Salt and Pepper
A classic sausage bacon and egg muffin with a twist. I know what you are thinking that sausage patty looks a little thick. Thats because this it's stuffed with American cheese - Minneapolis Juicy Lucy style. You would not want one every morning but it is definitely a good way to start your slut day.
Preheat oven to 160c
Take your sausage mixture and mix with your sage , salt and pepper.
Take a small handful of the mixture and create a small sausage - try and roll in thin like they do in mcdonalds.
Take a slice of American cheese and tear into small pieces and put in the middle of the patty.
Take another bit of the sausage meat and roll into a small patty - big enough to cover the cheese.
Now start cooking the bacon for about 5 minutes and then add the sausage patty to pan - cook on each side until nicely browned about 8 mins then transfer to the oven for about 15mins.
Take bacon out pan once crispy.
Take you egg ring (We made ours out of tinfoil) and crack the egg into the ring to get the circular shape.
Once the egg has started to take some shape find something to cover it and add a splash of water to the pan so the top steams - Once done take out the pan.
Toast your muffins until done (If you want you can finish off in oven with slice of American cheese so it melts).
You are now ready to build the muffin - Layer in this order cheese, bacon , patty , egg and the top of the muffin.
Cut the McSlut in half and enjoy.
