Fried Cheese and Egg on Toast

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg


  • 40g grated cheddar (enough to create a a 15cm circle in the pan)


  • 1 slice bread


  • 1 spring onion




SUMMARY

Here we have made our own type of @eggslut. Fry your grated cheddar cheese in a pan until slightly golden then crack an egg into the middle. When the egg is nearly cooked (to ensure a runny yolk) fold the cheese over the egg to create your eggy cheese parcel. Serve on toast. A nice light way to start your weekend. Slut it up to the max with some bacon


RECIPE

  1. Take your grated cheese and put it in a non stick pan and cook for about 4 mins until starting to get some colour.


  2. Take your egg and crack it into the middle of the cheese - if it moves get a spatula and place the yolk so it is at the center


  3. Let the egg cook for a few minutes until white is cooked and the cheese is golden round the outside


  4. Take a spatula and fold the cheese over the yolk to create a parcel. The cheese will harden up very quickly


  5. Put some toast on and place the cheesy coated egg on toast.


  6. Serve with spring onions.
