INGREDIENTS

  • 400g minced welsh shoulder of lamb


  • 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes


  • 1 finely chopped onion


  • 2 tsp Lebanese 7 spice mix (nutmeg, black pepper, clove, cumin, cardoman, coriander, cinnamon)


  • A Handful of chopped fresh parsley


  • 1/2 tsp salt


If you cant find Lebanese 7 spice you can just use all spice as a replacement.


SUMMARY

The @cookhousejoeuk kofta. A super simple dish - Welsh minced lamb shoulder , diced onion, parsley, Lebanese 7 spice mix and chilli all mixed together and thrown on the grill. What you do next is up to you. In a burger, on chips the world is your oyster. Although one thing for sure is for Sluts like us they are going no where near a "Lettuce Bun".

RECIPE

  1. Take your lamb, chilli flakes, diced onion, lebanese 7 spice mix, parsley and salt and throw into a bowl to mix well.


  2. Divide mixture into 6 equal size balls (oval shape)


  3. Now with wet hands (so they dont stick) take your balls and put them onto the stick and shape them into a kofta like shape.


  4. Now if on BBQ on medium/ high heat cook for about 6 minutes rotating until broned all over.


  5. If in an oven cook about 30cm from grill for about 12 mins rotating until browned.
