Breakfast Crumpet

  • 4 giant crumpets

  • 4 sausage patties

  • 2 maris piper potatoes grated

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 200g red Leicester Cheese

  • 2 tbsp Honey

  • 2 tbsp Sriracha

  • Maple Syrup to drizzle


Now for those people who are not already at the pub and are gearing up for them to open then you may need something to line your stomach. This slutty crumpet sandwich by @bboxfood will do just the job. Sausage patties and hash browns in a honey sriracha sauce in between two giant crumpets covered in melted red Leicester cheese finished off with runny egg on top. I'm not saying this will prevent your hangover tomorrow but it will definitely help.

Slut it up to the max with a drizzle of maple syrup


  1. Squeeze all the water out of the potato, mix with the flour and salt then divide into two patties and shallow fry in some oil until golden and crisp

  2. Fry the sausage patties and set to one side

  3. Load the crumpets with the cheese and melt well under a hot grill

  4. To make the honey sriracha simply mix the two thing together

  5. In the same pan melt the butter and slow fry the eggs for a perfect finish everytime

  6. Stack the crumpet sandwich with the sausage and hash browns smother in sauce top with a fried egg

  7. For an extra slutty touch drizzle over maple syrup
