Breakfast Burrito

  • 3 eggs

  • 75g diced chorizo

  • 1 flour tortilla wrap

  • Salt and pepper

  • 15g Cheddar Grated

  • 15g Red Leicester

  • 15g Monterey Jack

  • Tormatillo Salsa (as your sauce)

  • Guacamole to serve

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • Salt and Pepper


The FoodSlut breakfast burrito. Chorizo, Scrambled eggs (with lots of butter), three cheese blend (red leicester, cheddar and monterrey jack), tomatillo salsa and homemade guacamole on the side for dipping. Slutty enough that you probably wont need to eat again for a while, which I guess means it is calorie negative...

Slut this up to the mac with some tortilla chips for extra crunch and why not add a few other types of cheese whilst you are there.

  1. Take three eggs and whisk with some salt and pepper.

  2. Dice your chorizo and fry for about 5 mins until cooked a crispy.

  3. Once the chorizo is nearly done add in your eggs mix we want to almost create an scrambled omlette with the egg and chorizo.

  4. Once nearly cooked take your cheeses and add to the mixture

  5. Cook until melted then take off from the pan.

  6. Take your wrap and put in a hot pan for about 30 seconds each side until heated through.

  7. Then take your egg and chorizo mixture add to wrap - drizzle over your tomatillo salsa and then add extra cheese on top.

  8. Wrap it up so nothing can come up on either side and then put back in hot pan with something heavy on top to toast it and melt the extra cheese you added
