Fried buffalo chicken with a ranch and blue cheese sauce

INGREDIENTS

Makes 4 Burgers

4 X buttermilk chicken thighs

1 X foodslut fried chicken coating

1 X Ranch and blue cheese dressing

4 X brioche bun

1 X buffalo and honey hot sauce

1 X tarragon bread and butter pickles

Supplied by you baby gem lettuce

Steps to create your slutty burger

1. COAT YOUR CHICK

Pre-heat your oven to 180c. Pour the coating into a shallow tray, scrape off any excess buttermilk marinade on your chicken and dredge it in the coating. Make sure it is well covered.

2. FRY YOUR CHICK

Heat your frying pan to medium heat and add a good amount of oil so it covers the base of the pan - about 1 cm deep. Once the oil is hot carefully place the chicken in the pan. It should sizzle but not be too hot. Shallow fry for around 2 mins, flip the chicken to get the other side nice and golden, cook for a further 2 mins on this side

3. CHICK IN THE OVEN

Transfer to an ovenproof dish and cook for 10 minutes in the oven until cooked through.

4. MAKE YOUR CHICK SLUTTY

Cut and toast the buns. Dollop 1 tbsp of the ranch sauce on the bottom base with your sliced baby gem lettuce and bread & butter pickles. Once the chicken is finished cooking put directly on top of the base. Finish with as much buffalo and honey hot sauce as your dare and extra ranch for good measure. Top with the lid and don’t forget to tag @foodslut. Enjoy!
